オバマ元大統領が、コンピュータサイエンスエデュケーションウィーク開催で述べたメッセージとその動画です。生成AIが急速に進化し、DXの必要性が高まる今、受身からアクティブに転換しましょう。リスキリングが必要な時代になってきました。これからは、理系・文系問わず「STEM人材」が求められます。S(Science)、T(Technology)、E(Engineering)そしてM(Mathematics)です。これにArts（芸術・リベラルアーツ）とR(Robot)を加えてSTREAMとなります。このRはReading(読解力)、Reality(現実性)、Reviewing(評価)という識者もいます。あるいは、E(Environment:環境）を加えてE-STEMというものもあります。 いずれにしても、STEMが骨格です。私も、STREAMを意識していきたいと思います。
Don't just a new video game, make one. Don't just download the latest app, help design it. Don't just play on your phone, program it. No one's born a computer scientist, but with a little hard work, and some math and science, just about anyone can become one. This week is your chance to give it a shot. And don't let anyone tell you "you can't." Whether you're a young man or a young women, whether you live in a city or a rural area, computers are going to be a big part of your future. And if you're willing to work and study hard, that future is yours to shape.
